Chewing
Eating begins with the simple art of chewing. Chew well to polarize the food with your system and in order to make smooth digestion possible. If under pressure at meals, simply chew and let the chewing relax you.
Carbohydrate digestion begins in the mouth, thorough chewing turns grains and other complex carbohydrates into satisfying sugars and makes oils, proteins and minerals available for maximal absorption.
Without adequate chewing you will feel heavy and dull, develop gas and be undernourished. The more you chew healthy food, the better it tastes, the more you chew junk food , the worse it tastes. The more you chew, the less energy will go to the digestive system as most will be done by chewing, so your body and mind will feel light. Also you will eat less, as the body needs time, about 20 minutes, to realize that you are not hungry anymore.
So also important, take time for your meals, take your meals in silence as the more you speak, the less you can chew. Put down your spooon, chop sticks between bites, you should chew each bite between 30 and 50 times.
Try it for a week and you will see the difference.
