Day 7: 22 January 2010: Morning Blog
Last night I went to sleep at 22.00 and today I woke up at 04.00 so we can see some improvement. I feel good, nothing planned, as the normal exercises and perhaps going for a swim, as this was planned yesterday but it was too windy.
You all know how excited I am about many things but surely about GABA rice; as this morning I was doing some research, I read an article about GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) and Alhpa waves, what a coincidence!!!
Of course, this is not a coincidence, as I do not believe in coincidences, but here is a part of the article:
"As one of the primary neurotransmitters in the brain, GABA is an inhibitory (vs. excitatory) chemical responsible for creating the calming, rhythmic electrical impulses in the brain. It elevates the production of alpha waves associated with feeling relaxed (without drowsiness) and boosts mental alertness. GABA lowers beta waves, impulses that contribute to a state of nervousness, racing thoughts and hyperactivity."
As in a few days I gonna start my Number Seven (10 days only brown rice and water) and I only will use brown GABA rice (of course), I think I will be in Alpha all of the time, which will benefit my Alpha-training, of course .
That is why my friend Bryan (from Raitong Organics Farm) seems always so calm: he lives in the Alpha world!
No, no nothing to do with the Avatar: much better, as it is possible for each and everyone of us!
The more I learn about GABA rice, the more I love it!
If you do not find it in your country, mail me, and I will teach you how to make your own GABA rice, starting from brown rice, but anyway you will need the equipment to keep the soaking rice on 32 degrees centigrades for at least 22 hours.
For the rest, it is a piece of (whole wheat) cake!
