Fishy Therapy?

By gee - Posted on 24 February 2010

While I was in Hua Hin (Thailand) I decided to go for a treatment by doctor fish. Doctor fish are a species called garra rufa and originate in pools near two small Turkish towns, Kangal and Sivas. They have long been known for their ability to treat the symptoms of skin conditions such as psoriasis. The fish seems to bite only dead and bad skin, and if you put a child next to an elderly, they will choose for the older skin.

The feeling is like a light electric current running through your skin, a bit of tickling.
Even now, after 4 days, I still feel the difference, my skin feels very smooth, and I only did my legs for 15 minutes.

Next time I will go for 30 minutes.
